1. Keep the installation environment clean

2. Pay attention to the influence of lubrication on the performance of linear bearings
Lubrication has a significant impact on the operation and service life of linear bearings. Lubricating grease is made from base oil, thickeners, and additives. The performance of lubricating grease is mainly determined by the base oil. Low viscosity base oil is generally suitable for low temperature and high speed; High viscosity is suitable for high temperatures and loads.
Thickeners are also related to lubrication performance, and the water resistance of thickeners determines the water resistance of lubricating grease. In principle, different brands of lubricating grease cannot be mixed, and even lubricating grease with the same thickener will have adverse effects due to different additives. The surface of the bearing is coated with rust proof oil, which must be carefully cleaned with clean gasoline or kerosene, and then coated with clean, high-quality or high-speed, high-temperature lubricating oil. Fully enclosed bearings do not require cleaning or refueling.
3. Make reasonable adjustments
After installing the linear bearing, if not carefully adjusted, alignment may cause the bearing to experience other loads, friction, and vibration.
