Selection of Rolling Bearings

(1) Based on the size and nature of the load

     Large load or impact: Select roller bearings (line contact)

     Low load or impact: ball bearing selection (point contact)

(2) According to the direction of the load

     Pure radial load: deep groove ball bearing, cylindrical roller bearing

     Pure axial load: selective thrust bearing

     Radial axial load: angular contact bearings, tapered roller bearings

     Select deep groove ball bearings  when the axial load is not significant

 (3) Based on the rate

      High speed:  ball bearing selection

      Low speed:  roller bearing selection

(4) Based on rotational accuracy

     High precision requirement:  ball bearing selection

(5) Based on the centering performance

     Poor shaft rigidity, poor coaxiality of bearing seat holes, or multi-point support:  select self-aligning bearings
